Magfood Group’s Product Knowledge Training: Enhancing Insight, Strengthening Synergy
On Thursday, September 18, 2025, Magfood Group held a Product Knowledge Training event attended by all staff from various divisions. The event took place in the Main Meeting Room and was a key agenda item aimed at improving internal understanding of our products, as well as building stronger communication and synergy between departments. This activity was designed so that all staff—from operations, production, and outlet crews—could get to know Magfood and Amazy products more deeply, from the products themselves to the food service solutions offered by Magfood and Amazy. The material was delivered interactively and practically by the Magfood Amazy Sales and Marketing Team.
Purpose of the Activity
In a product-based organization, especially in the food industry, product understanding is not only required by the sales or outlet teams. Every part of the company—from the kitchen to the cashier, from administration to logistics—plays a role in ensuring that the product is understood, communicated, and developed in a consistent and valuable way. Product knowledge helps employees answer customer questions, convey information correctly, and even understand the reasoning behind certain product innovations. Without a uniform understanding, the potential for internal and external miscommunication increases. With this knowledge, every part of the organization contributes to creating and maintaining product quality and brand reputation.
This Product Knowledge training aimed to:
- Increase understanding of the products being marketed and produced.
- Unify the perception of the value and advantages of the products.
- Build inter-divisional product communication skills.
- Foster pride in the brand they represent.
- Assess the effectiveness of the material delivery through an evaluation (quiz) at the end of the session.

Product Introduction: Magfood and Amazy
Magfood Inovasi Pangan is a company engaged in the production of seasoning powders, cooking spices, premixes, and functional food products. The material session was divided into several main parts delivered by the Sales and Marketing team:
- Brand Value and Product Identity
The session began with a refresher on the company’s vision and mission, core brand values, and how each product plays a role in meeting current consumer needs. - Details of Magfood and Amazy Frozen Food Products
Participants were re-introduced to the types of Magfood and Amazy products with explanations about:- Ingredient composition
- Usage instructions
- Target consumers
- Differentiation from similar products
The importance of Non-MSG seasoning powder as a healthier and safer food solution for all ages was also emphasized.
- Product Communication by All Staff
This material highlighted that every staff member acts as a product ambassador, whether directly or indirectly. Therefore, product understanding is an essential asset for handling questions, responding to complaints, or conveying information accurately.
Final Evaluation with a Product Knowledge Quiz
At the end of the event, all participants took an evaluation quiz to measure:
- The level of understanding of the material.
- The effectiveness of the delivery by the Sales & Marketing team.
- The participants’ ability to apply their product knowledge.
The questions included multiple-choice, short answers, and light case studies. The results will be analyzed to form the basis for future advanced training. Some of the top-performing participants were also given awards as a form of appreciation for their seriousness.
Through this training, every staff member is equipped with the knowledge that allows them to contribute maximally in their respective roles. In the future, a solid product understanding will be one of the company’s main strengths in facing market dynamics and meeting ever-evolving customer expectations.
